Line 6 Duoverb HD

Line 6 Duoverb HDThe Line 6 Duoverb head is such a great piece of guitar equipment to have at your disposal. It’s packed with amp models that are as close as a digital amp can be, including models such as Soldano SLO-100, Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, Vox AC-30 Top Boost, ’65 Fender Blackface Twin Reverb, Marshall JCM800 and more. It also has the ability to run two amps at once into a stereo cab (one amp model per side) or blend them into one signal. The cab simulator isn’t the highlight of this amp, but sounds fair using the direct outs on the back panel. It can also store up to 4 settings, making it great for live use too. I’ve yet to try it with a Line 6 Floorboard, but according to the Duoverb info on the Line 6 site, you can access up to 36 presets and a wah when any of the FBV Floorboards are used.

If you like this, you should try the new VOX VT series. I have one, its my main amp. It models too, but with a unique twist.

It uses a 12ax7 as mini poweramp, since the 12ax7 is a 2 tubes in 1 design it can. It shapes the tone by modulating feedback and variac etc.

    Really cool.

I played this amp live, but I did loose against a tube Randall, by meanings of warmth and fullness of tone.
